A smart 20s/30s door with original stained glass panel and sidelight and brass door furniture. The owner of this period property wanted to keep her original stained glass, so our skilled glaziers removed it from her old door, fitted it into the new door and laminated it for additional warmth and security. The frame was also replaced. The door was hand finished in a shade that complements the beauty of the glass.
This stained glass restoration demonstrates the skill, care and commitment of our specialist glaziers. Our craftsmen removed it from an old door, fitted it into our new door and laminated it for extra warmth and security. The colours are beautifully enhanced by the hand-painted finish.
Like all of our other doors, this door was expertly finished by craftsmen at our workshop in a shade of our client’s choice. The selected colour is beautifully enhanced by the stained glass.
Our door furniture is available in a choice of styles and finishes. This beautiful brass collection is perfectly placed in accordance with the door’s style and proportions.
As well as ensuring the look of your door, we also advise on a wide range of locking systems. Some, such as the one shown here, are more suited to glass panelled wooden doors as the internal lockable handle can be deadlocked from inside and outside.
This new door and frame have been beautifully constructed and meticulously installed for a millimetre perfect fit. Fitting can take up to three days to ensure an exact fit and the quality can be demonstrated in a smooth open/close function. As you would expect, the security of the home is prioritised during this process.
Our design consultants work tirelessly to make sure that the style and details are creatively and aesthetically in keeping with doors from the period. Modern considerations only act to improve on an original idea and bring an authentic design into the 21st century.
